I have been up and down these forums reading every post trying to find an answer that works. I haven't been able to download the needed patch to play this game since January. EVERY TIME I start the launcher it tells me that downloading has stalled and to wait. I have left the launcher open for 7 days with no effect. DIsabled firewall. Uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times and then said screw it and started playing Elite Commander instead. I have quite a bit of money invested in a game I can't even start. i know it's alpha but it used to work. I'm not the only person who has this issue. There are thousands of people with the same problem. It's maddening to say the least. There is no solution. You would think that the launcher would at least work or a reinstall would fix the behavior. NOPE. Nothing. The devs don't even respond to all the threads I've seen on the issue either. I can't even post in this in the bugs thread because the forum rules prevent me. This is asinine.
