Hey Guys!
I pledged this week after taking advantage of some of the free play codes from PAX and SXSW, now I have a shiny Mustang and I'm looking forward to 1.1 and beyond.
I have a friend who'd like to pledge as well, he doesn't have much money to commit, but he quite likes the look of the Aurora for a starter. I told him I'd test drive the variants during this free fly week and report back to him and I'm a little confused.
According to the ship specs on the main site the ES variant is meant to have two mass driver type weapons and the MR variant is meant to have to laser type. Based on what's in AC right now though this seems flipped, with the MR having ballistic weapons and the ES having lasers. Their prices are very close at the moment so I'd like to be able to explain the difference to him. Can anyone help?
