Hey everyone,

I originally backed SC back in 2012 when it all started and decided I was going to ignore the game to not spoil a single thing. Well my interest in Elite Dangerous (which I haven't bought yet) led me to check out SC and see what's been going on. Then I realized, OH I have alpha access late last week. I've been trying to play ever since.

Having a hard time adjusting using the logitech 3d extreme pro joystick (Already going nuts for a hotas) and I was absolutely garbage with mouse...this is my first space sim and yeah it handles quite differently than arcarde or sim combat flight games. I think I need to learn how to use the thrusters properly when flying?

I had no idea what I was buying back in 2012, but I have a 300i ship? should I upgrade it?

Anyways looking for people to experience Alpha content with and with 1.1 coming up looks like a lot of fun!

Any tips would be nice as well!
