Hi, I was looking at the R9 290 and afaik you can reduce performance and power consumption with AMD Power Tune. Would it be possible to reduce its performance to the level of a R9 280X or even down to GTX 960 level? And what would be the power consumption at this low performance setting? Just asking, because you can get a 290 for slightly more than a GTX 960, but I hate hot, loud and power hungry cards. Still the 290 has 4 GB of RAM and some performance reserves, should you need them.
