With that said, I'm almost ready to get a PC for Star Citizen and I need help please. I'm not a regular purchaser of games so when I buy one I choose carefully and I want it to work right. I'm also not interested in regularly upgrading my machine so I want something that will be good enough for the next 5 years or so. Looking at custom PC build sites I think approx. $3k should be enough.... perhaps...?

Understand that if you start giving me specs and abbreviations my eyes will cloud over, I'll go get a beer and then hit something with a club.

aside from the above, I'd really like CIG to just team up with someone who does custom PCs and offer a complete rig through the shop here. I've seen lots of comments where people are saying that they are buying or updating their computers specifically for SC so it seems like it would make sense for CIG to offer the option to buy through them and maybe put some more cash towards maintaining the PU after release.
