I've finally started playing Arena Commander in earnest, and I've learned that KBM isn't to my taste, and while I'm decent with a gamepad, trying to aim precisely with my thumbs is not really working for me.

So I'm giving thought to picking up at least a joystick, if not a full HOTAS set-up. However, I'm looking for two things:

1. Something that works well with the default SC settings. I don't want to have to monkey with the thing every time I climb into the cockpit.

2. Something under $200. I'm not a flight sim enthusiast, and beyond this game and E:D I'll probably never use this thing, so I don't want to throw away money on it.

Any of you more experienced joystick/HOTAS players have any recommendations? Much appreciated in advance!
