I'm looking at picking up 2 joysticks to help me pilot ships in this game. I'm thinking about having a left and right joystick only, and not using pedals/rudder controls. I've never bought or used a joystick for gaming before so this is all new territory for me.

I am looking for some advice as to what I should look for in a joystick as well as suggestions from the community about which joystick to get. I would like to know what works well and what doesnt, from your experience as well as what to stay away from.
