Hey there... so I got my X-55 two days ago and am really loving it... I've installed custom profiles and done some modding myself, but the biggest thing I'm running into at this point is the control of gimballed weapons while piloting. I've set the thumb nipple to act as a mouse pointer (it's not quite good enough for it though) and I've also used my gaming mouse in my left hand (I'm a lefty so it's pretty easy for me to use a mouse in my left hand). Currently though, when I am piloting and maneuvering with my joystick and trying to aim with my mouse - it either over corrects causing me to veer off in a direction, or the movement of the joystick resets the pointer to the center view.

I'm wondering what tricks others have used to get around this... if they have. I know TrackIR and Oculus Rift can be setup to control the aiming function and I've seen it work quite well so I have to believe there is a way to get it to work with a mouse instead.
