For the past 3 days, I've been working seeing if I could use a PS3 controller to play Star Citizen. I've had a lot of success with piloting an Aurora LN and a Mustang Gamma to great extent.

In order to get the Controller working, I used Scarlet to get started. I would highly recommend Scarlet over MotionInJoy as Scarlet does not cause Windows machines to BSOD. Plus MotionInJoy is a pain to remove from a PC.

To Install and Setup Scarlet, Goto the Above link and Download Version 1.2.0.

Once you have the archive, Unzip it and you will have a folder called SCP Server. Extract that to your Desktop.

Once the Folder is there, Open it up and open bin. Click on ScpDriver and install it. Once installed, Connect the Controller with the USB cable used for charging.

Start ScpMonitor and you will have an overview of the connected pads. Your Controller should be Pad 1. If it is not there, Disconnect and Reconnect the Controller. Once there. Go into the icons tray and Find SCP Monitor. Right Click and select Profile Manager. It will show up As a 360 controller, But don't worry.

Test the controller making sure that all of the buttons work.

After everything checks out, Go back to the forum thread where you GOT Scarlet and Get the Updates. Just Unzip and extract to desktop. It will update all the files.

So far, This is what I have found as far as Ship Control, and Basic Movement.
