Gak - I'm clueless *sigh* - I have x52 pro hotas - somehow I've screwed up my settings and I can't control my ship. Here is what I've been able to tell so far - I can either control the direction I am pointing or I can apply thrust in the direction I am pointing - but for some reason I can't do both at the same time. Let's say I start off and I can control thrust, when I move the joystick you can see the pilots hands animation so show pulling forward or back but those actions don't do anything / only rotating the ship works - then if I press caps lock suddenly the forward and back work but it is like I cut my engines off and I'm still flying the direction I was heading before I hit caps lock.

I am using the layout file that came with the game download and have not modified it. I know I'm being an idiot here - but I'm stuck. any help appreciated.
