I'm having issues with my comp freezing, and I've finally narrowed it down.

First, system specs:

4790k CPU, 16 GB RAM (Sticks pass Memtest), R9 295x2 graphics card, most recent stable drivers installed, Windows 8.1 64-bit

Now the issue:

During random moments, sometimes when the computer itself is running idly with no user input, the computer will lock up and freeze. From what I've found, its because of the Intel Graphics 4600 on board the CPU interfering with the separate graphics card.

-I've entered my BIOS to force the computer to only use the PCI slots, but it has not fixed the issue.
-I've updated the Intel Graphics drivers to the 64-bit version to no avail.
-When I enter Hardware Manager to disable the Intel Graphics, I only see the R9 295x2 (AMD R9 200 series repeated twice)

Is there any way I can shut off the Intel Graphics on the CPU? This is quite frustrating.
