Alright, so I had been trying to play arena commander with two joysticks, just like in the aurora, because I thought it was kinda neat, but when it comes to actually aiming the guns with the joystick, it is very difficult to get a successful kill. I tried it tonight with keyboard and mouse, and I had quite a bit of success. Trying really hard, I got up to level five in vanduul swarm with DJoy, but with a mouse and keyboard, easily made it to lvl 10. Now this is great and all but let's be honest here, using a mouse and keyboard for a space simulator is super lame, I want it to be just like in the game, not be a point and click mobile turret, I want to feel like I'm flying the ship and attacking in space, which a mouse and keyboard doesn't provide that feeling. I've spent time looking into hotas setups and pedals for thrust and brake, but that isn't worth much when it's just a much harder way to play the game. Does anybody have any suggestions for what I could do or what might happen in the future of SC?
