Hey all,

As you can easily guess from the title I am one of the many new recruits who decided to take the plunge and dive into the vast universe of Star Citizen. The only other space sim I have experience with (and I know I may be shouted at for this :P) is Elite Dangerous which I enjoy playing so I decided to buy the Arena Commander Starter package to get my hands on a ship and give it a go to see if my average flying skills from Elite would help......they didn't.

I can easily say after loading up arena commander a few times is that I really need a lot of practice flying. Can't seem to grasp it using my Logitech extreme 3D pro joystick but still enjoying bouncing off of asteroids and barely managing to fly in a straight line, the few people I've meet when I bravely decided to enter public matches despite my flying skills have been really friendly and courteous which makes me really look forward to playing this game in the future and happy to be part of the community :D

Look forward to meeting many people out in the verse but do try to go easy on this new recruit :)
