I'm currently in the market to upgrading my entire system for SC, this will be my main system specifically for SC.

I'm a little unsure as to the best processor for the job though, I heard I7's are good, but the latest chips are way to pricy for me.

Instead been looking at these:

AMD FX 9590 Black Edition, PILEDRIVER, 8 Core, AM3+, 4.7GHz (5Ghz Turbo) priced at £179.00

INTEL Core i5 4690K, Socket 1150, Quad Core, 3.5GHz, 84W, Haswell / Devil`s Canyon £179.00

Ideally I want DDR4 compatible board but as of yet i'm unsure whether there is any boards with this capability that supports AMD processors.
Both are priced the same so unsure what would be better :(.

Any ideas or assist please?
