Hi everyone,

I have been lurking these forums for a while and I have been trying to find places that still have the Thrustmaster T 16000M in stock, at least near or around the average retail price of $50 new in box. Unfortunately, I can only find it in stock at seem pretty seedy websites that Google Shopping finds.

I really want a quality joystick with the Hall Effect Sensor or something that is just going to last me a long time, but that is not going to break the bank. I am planning on getting a throttle as well, particularly the CH Products USB Pro (assuming there are no good quality HOTAS within my price range). I am just trying to figure out a good quality stick to go with it. I don't want to use peddles and so I am seem to be stuck with joysticks that twist.

I have done a lot of research and seems that Saitek quality is a little questionable, so I am hesitant to go that route. So I can't figure out what to do. I think the Thurstmaster T 16000M is discontinued and I am seeing them new in box for $100 and up, which is absurd in my humble opinion. I have one on back order, but Fry's does not know when or if they will ever be getting any more in stock.

Can you please help me pick out a HOTAS setup?

TL/DR Crowd:
I want a quality joystick or HOTAS, but that is not going to break the bank.
I do not want to use peddles.
I will be buying the CH Products Pro USB Throttle if I end up buying the joystick separately.
Basically, I want a quality setup at an affordable price. Warthog is way beyond my price range (plus wife would kill me, lol).

P.S. - I tried looking for the Thrustmaster T-Flight X HOTAS (or whatever its called) - it too is out of stock everywhere and can only be found at shady websites. Can't get a break :-S
