I understand that the game is in alpha. I do. What concerns me is that we have days of videos produced to show off or share the game and their plans on top of tombs and tombs of written content and NEVER, I repeat NEVER has anyone from CIG confirmed any intention of including any sort of racial or ethnic diversity among NPCS. No hints of it in the lore. Nothing.

The cutlass ship commercial featured a female pilot in an awkward sort of 'surprise' reveal as if the concept of a female pilot was itself a wonder against all expectations. But fine, they never included any sort of female models before and perhaps they were playing with the absurdity of their exclusion. This combined with that PU video at least warrants the questioned be answered.

I have met some CIG devs in chat and each could not confirm and have responded by saying things like 'I don't work in that area' or 'that has never come up' or 'i would hope so but I can't confirm.' I have no expectation about the content created until now. I am simply asking someone to confirm the intention to include racial diversity from CIG.
