Sorry if this is already posted, but I've had no luck finding it and I've been trying to figure it out for a long time myself with no luck.

Is there a way to set the flight controls so you have the freedom of motion of regular mode with the function of relative mode (ship always turning towards cursor)?

Essentially to be able to move the cursor in the same space as you can in regular mode, but have the ship always turning towards the cursor. For example you move the cursor left so you are now looking out the left window and the ship will turn towards the cursor (depending on ship agility this might take a few seconds) until it is facing where the cursor is and you would then be looking out the front window again.

For a clearer example, consider the following in relation to MechWarrior Online:
cursor/turrets/gimbal mounts = cursor/arms
fixed mounts/ship direction = torso

You move the cursor around with regular mode freedom and the gimbal mounts or arms aim there as fast as they can and the ship or torso aims there as fast as they can. The gimbal mounts or arms get there first because they turn faster, followed by the ship or torso because they are slower, but they always keep turning to face the cursor.

The reason I ask is because in regular mode, fixed weapons never come to bear on a target unless extreme over aiming is used and in relative mode, most of the mobility of turrets/gimbal mounts is lost. If anyone knows how to set the controls to achieve this, I would greatly appreciate it and I'm sure many others would as well.

On a side note, what does right alt + m do? It seems to have no affect?
