I am having difficulty setting up my joystick while using my Razer Tartarus for throttle and flight commands. I am using SCJMapper for my joystick bindings, however, most of the time when trying to load them via the cmd prompt, SC won't recognize my keyboard i.e. unable to type pp +tab. I have to exit the game and restart and Ill be able to type in the cmd prompt. I have been able to get this setup to work once by using the Razer software to map bindings on the Tartarus, but when I began configuring the top hat through SCJMapper, both the Tartarus and joystick stopped working in game when I reloaded the joystick configuration. I have not been able to get them to both work at the same time since.

Any help would be appreciated. I am very new to this being the first time I have used a joystick not connected on a arcade.
