Hi all,

A little about myself, i am a 31 years old male and happily married to a wonderful, good looking, screaming, cursing, bitching, bloody fanatic world of warcraft playing wife. We still have no kids (sadly), but on the bright side more time for hardcore gaming, and we can go on holidays whenever wherever we like to.
Currently i am in between jobs, economy still sucks here in the Netherlands, and i worked at constructions for 6 years and the last 7 years i worked as a cost engineer and project manager.
Bright side of being unemployed tho is, i live in the netherlands! so i have more money to spend atm than when i was working and a lot of free time for gaming!

So i have been around on Star Citizen for a while. And i just never came around to get active on the forums. Or even getting into this game at first.

At first it was a little weird reading about this game, and listening to that little puffy guy (Chris Roberts) talking about himself wanting to build a space sim.
And he needing our (the Crowd!) money for it, basically it was like, well, you give us your money, and jhea were giving you a ship (just air) and a hanger (also just air) and the game(when/if) it comes out etc. (which is practically just more air) to build/-play this game that isnt out yet for a few years to come.

And sure i was sceptic about it, the plans they had at that time were awesome, and a little too good to be true, but slowly this game starts to creep up on you. What if he does create what he promises?, what if the alpha slots were gone?, And what if i missed that boat to get early game access and actually see what they're doing/- building?, what if my friends do get alpha and i can't get to play with them? i can't have that i just need to buy this game!

But the problem is i have been let down so many times on early alpha beta games, any one remember planetary annihilation? payed a 100 bucks for that and the game still doesn't work well, the same goes with DayZ and this list is quite long.

But after a few days it started creeping thru my head again and i just pledged with a Aurora LN (€28) with alpha access etc. just to be save and have this game. And €28 isn't too crazy, its not like i am ever going to spent more on a unfinished game again. I thought.

Soon i started forcing this game on others, i am quite good at that, the same happen when WOW came out and even till the point i accidentally screwed up a friends marriage and they divorced. He still is a WOW addict, so he doesn't miss her to much haha. And around 9/10 good friends of mine became WOW addicts for a solid 5/8 years. Organizing lan weekends when new patches or expansions came out for the game, calling in sick to work just to lvl faster etc.

And so far i only got 6 more friends into this game with alpha access, a few just keep playing WOW and stopped listening to me (but thats quite a good thing tho).

But this game keeps astonishing me, the ships, the detail, the hangers, the few missions we have now (drone or public matches)
so for its a wonderful game! And the developers keep the community very well informed on what they're doing and creating, others should learn from this!
And being able to melt your ship, get your money back and go buy something else i had a lot of fun exploring the ships in the hanger and flying.

Because of that, short after the DFM came out, i started upgrade the Aurora LN and soon i was flying a mighty Hornet F7C-M, but after i upgrade the Aurora LN to the Hornet i started regretting it, which resulted in buying myself one extra ship, an Aurora LN again. There is just is something very charming about those little Aurora's!

And thanks to the wonderful anniversary sale from last November 2014 till 1st February 2015 i started upgrading again.
My Hornet was upped to a Cutlass Bleu!
What do you mean officer, sir? it says police on the side of my ship doesn't it? No, no, i was helping these players to get rid of their extra cargo, they were drifting here because uhm they overloaded and didn't have enough fuel to get back at a starport. What do you mean there ship is leaking fuel? I don't know anything about that! and only god knows why there shields are depleted sir. And they are only dead well uhhm because they just accidently walked into my gunfire when i was trying to shoot the ships rats that startled me...... i promise i am honest player argghhh!

okay back on topic!
So remember the extra Aurora LN that i bought? Well i upgraded it this week into a Hornet again because gdm that one is also too ****!
Which i melted again because those Freelancer MAX also looks like wow, awesome, amazing!

And then it became more like, well, i already got me a nice freelancer Max, but lets up it into a MIS, which eventually resulted in me getting a Constellation Taurus. which resulted into a fight with the missis because i spend around a €150 (on a lot of AIR!) this week on ships only. Also because i already bought 2 new high end graphics cards last week which got me 2 Mustang Omega's the AMD's version of the mustang, i sold the extra one because you can only have one per account. And upgraded the lasting Omega to a Mustang Delta.

So long story short atm i have a Mustang Delta, Cutlass Bleu, Freelancer DUR and a Avenger. (20 min ago i traded in the conny added a few dollars and bought the last 2 ships of my list) and this probably will change.
So the delta i am stuck with, i can't trade it in, because its parts of the package, i can only upgrade it, but there is no upgrade for it at the moment.
And I can't trade up the Cutlass Bleu, melting it would result in me losing alpha access, and i can't have that, but i am very happy with the bleu!
4 friends and me already own either a Cutlasses Black or Blue, to start pissing off players from day one release of the game!
The Freelancer DUR and the Avenger will be melted and there will be added (slowly) money to as long as i can afford it to buy bigger or more ships!
The Conny Andromeda sure looks tasty!

So i am still looking for a guild, wing, crew or whatever its called on these forums.
But i want to play as a pirate (thats why i keep the Cutlass Bleu), so no trading or whatsoever, just stealing from others and living from that in the game, no honor to anyone else besides the guild mates you play with.

So if anyone have any questions about anything just ask away! And GDM i wrote a lot more then i was intended to! sorry for that!
