As above: Is there a way to fly in mouse follow mode (ie. with deadzone) while having all guns centred?

I find I fly a lot better with the deadzone for maneuvering etc. and lining up shots with gimbal weapons (ie. in m50) however in a ship with several gimballed weapons and several fixed, I'm at a loss! I tried ctrl + c which fixes all guns to centre crosshair, but without the deadzone I have trouble a. being precise and b. keeping up with ships flying around me (tried altering sens but it made it even harder to stick on a single target).
