I have looked but this is too confusing.
I'm new to a stick. Dug out a ST290 Pro from a closet that I never used.
I looked at that topic with editing- I dont need all that, I don't think- not yet.
This starter ship doesn't seem to have a whole lot of features.
But I don't know if its my noob ship or bindings that I am lacking.
Is "C" the key to press to target? Is there a different key?
Can someone give me a basic setup for this stick to do basic things?
I have 6 buttons, a trigger and a hat. The hat is set to, I guess look..I see the reticule move but not my aim.
Chaff and flare are ok, I understand and have mapped those.
Scan ships? I saw a vid, maybe cause I have the noob ship that came with a radeon offer my hud doesn't offer that option?
I have a mustang, I think. What can I do with a stick setup to help improve?
And are those 2 laser the only weps I can use for now?

P.S. Pretty exciting combat at break neck speeds...would like to optimize this stick but not sure if many features are avail b/c this may be a starter ship.
