So the Lenovo Y500 is an excellently priced gaming laptop with 2x GeForce GT 650m in SLI, an i7-3630QM @2.4GHz, and up to 16GB of RAM. The total computational power of two 650m's is actually higher than the computational power of a GeForce GTX 460, so with a good enough SLI profile, we should be able to run this game very smoothly.

I'm assuming this notebook's pretty common among gamers, so if anyone else has one out there:

How's the hanger running on your Y500, and what have you been able to do to improve performance?

no it won't work well. A single 650m usually stays bellow 10 fps on star citizen ( generally anywhere in the game). Assuming if all the sli issues get fixed for the game I still highly doubt it will be able to run the finished game even remotely smoothly (less than 20fps). Don't get me wrong it will still work on low settings but it is best to try to aim for at least the 860m or up
