What i did:
- Downloaded "StarCitizenInstaller.exe"
- Installed it to folder "M:\games\StarCitizen"
- Installation successful as the log shows - desktop icon is created
- start "StarCitizenLauncher.exe"
what happens:
- nothing. StarCitizenLauncher.exe runs for a while (as can be seen in the task monitor) and starts doing something (memory usage increases slowly, CPU usage is between 0% and 2%) for about 15 seconds, then just stops. No screen output. I also couldn't find a logfile at this stage. Folder "DownloadData" contains a subfolder "host.-some gibberish-" which remains empty.
My system: i2600K, ATI Radeon 6950, 8GB RAM, Win7x64.
I tried stopping the virus scan temporarily to no avail.
procmon.exe shows nothing unusual (no "access denieds" or "Faileds".
Is there a way to turn on logging at this stage?
