So this may be a super specific question, but hopefully someone can help me figure out what's going on. Without getting in to all the details, I've built myself a custom throttle pedal using an Arduino and an old guitar pedal, which is basically a potentiometer in a nice case. Things went quite smoothly, and everything looked good until I got in game.

For some reason, the behaviour I get in Windows "Game Controllers" properties page doesn't match what I get in game. In Windows, I get nice, smooth control over the pedal, with a fairly linear response. In game, I get a very strange throttle response that increases from 0-30, drops, increases again to 90, drops, and increases again to 100. Those numbers aren't exact, but you get the idea. I should get a nice linear increase as I push the pedal, but I get these odd drops that I can't figure out.

Anyway, hopefully someone out there can shed some light on what's happening..
