Ok some of you may recognize bits of this ship as I've cannibalized one of my earlier pieces for the greater good. And yeah its still in its infancy but I thought I'd throw it out there and see if there were any thoughts while I have the time to actually do something about it.



In essence its designed to carry up to sixteen military personnel on interstellar missions that may also entail a lot of planet side time. As a fleet I'm seeing an 'amphibious assault' from space but they could also operate alone in counter insurgency and black op insertion roles.

The hatches visible along the top are for pairs of escape pods, while the lower deck will contain a med bay, ships locker and possibly more crew quarters. There are positions for pilot, co-pilot and navigator as well as top and bottom turrets and two dorsal turrets. Also 6 forward tubes for missiles.
Between the living quarters and the main engines there are two cargo areas for mission specific pods containing either light vehicles/APCs, Mechanized battle suits, or payloads such as bombs or missiles.

On par or a bit larger than a Connie it will probably never make a great hauler but it could be popular among adventuring groups, converted to exploration purposes or refitted to be used as a militarized advance field ambulance
