Had a few requestsnull regarding my Hotas desk build and decided to do a make how tutorial.(I'm dutch so there might be some language errors).

What did i use:

Materials

1 hollow pipe 120 cm long.
some plywood 15 mm thick.
some plywood 40 mm thick.
some skrews.
wood glue.
lock bolts to attach 40mm plywood to desk.
lock bolts to attach hotas to plywood.

I'll start with a foto and then a short explanation.

Images of it looks at front.

This is the standard mode.Plenty of room to use keyboard and the mouse for other games.

40 mm plywood cut out to match desk and frame.(The ring you see between the plywood and the frame of the desk is because the pipe was to far backwards and i couldn't slide the model).

Drill a 1cm deep hole for the pipe to fit in.And remember that the mid one needs a hole that is completely drilled trough the plywood.Drill hole trough plywood and deskframe and lock it with a lockbolt. The mid piece of plywood needs to be put a few cm left of the centre for a center stick setup.(See pictures above).

Holes in the side are for cable management(headphone etc.).

These are pictures of the 15mm plywood model where my stick is attached onto.Pay attention to the green retangle(will explain below). Not giving any measurements of the model because not everone uses same hotas setup as me.For the right height I just took the stick in one hand and did a rough measurement from bottom joy to top of desk(best is to make a 1:1 drawing of the situation and create a model from there on out).

Make sure it hangs a little bit downwards so you can setup the right hight later(that's where the green rectangle is for you saw on the pictures above).

Do the same for the throttle.

Not much further to tell.If there are troubles just give me a shout.

Greetings from a Citizen.
