Hey everyone,
I'm a complete newbie here, only recently started learning about Star Citizen and I think I've seen enough to be convinced to buy a game package. I just have a few questions that I was hoping to get some help with. I'm really sorry if these have been asked before, in fact I'm sure they have, I've been searching for a while and I'm struggling to get solid answers so I was hoping someone with the knowledge could save me the hassle and lay it out for me :)

1. Will ships be buyable in game (if not now, on release)? Or are they real money only?

2. I've noticed that there are several different buyable versions of each ship. Are they treated as totally different ships? Or are they just different combinations of parts? In other words, it costs $5 to "upgrade" the Aurora from LX to LN. Would I be able to do that manually in game using parts? And vice versa? Or if I wanted the LN would I have to physically buy the upgrade? and can't "downgrade"?

3. If I buy a hanger "upgrade" and don't like it. Can I switch back to the standard? Or another one I purchase?

I'm trying to find the best package for me .. Which is incredibly hard because there are so many of them and they aren't easy to compare for someone who doesn't know much about the game XD

Any help would be appreciated.
