Hi there
so i heard about SC will not allow us to do the entire landing/takeoff process from orbiting until landing on the ground (and taking off from it until vacuum)
Instead we will have cutscenes, because too much players attempting to land on a single planet can be very difficult for the game stability.

I agree with that

I also recognize loading time will be necessary...but i think procedural loading is also possible

BUT

I thought we would be able to do this in a "solo-instanced area" which would allow us to do the entire athmosphere entry process by ourself.... this would be very nice...and more immersive than cutscene.

I don't like cutscenes.

poll just for fun:
-Cutscene replaces the entire landing/take off procedure by an 'animated loading screen'

-Manual non-instanced allows landing/take off with a single loading screen to enter/exit planet's orbit
It supposes the entire planet environment to be loaded when reaching the planet's orbit
This is the most ressources-eater option we got, but also the most immersive/realistic...

-Manual-instanced allows landing/take off with a loading screen before and after the entire approach/exit process (landing/take off room)
it supposes to load the landing/take off procedure in a single or multiplayers athmospheric'room, and then loading the planet environment once we touched the ground. A good way for smarter use of game ressources & immersion without having cutscene... but less realistic and more loading time.

let see what's on your mind...feel free to add your ideas
comments are welcome

and i hope i did no mistake in english :) correct me if you can ;)
