The following is based on a true story... my story. This is how I came to Star Citizen.

Back when I was still a young man I was fascinated with PC gaming. I had access to my Dad's PC and had asked for a Joystick for Christmas along with Wing Commander IV. I had played some of the previous entries with friends and convinced my parents to let me get a game for our computer. I was so excited! I played through the game up to what I believe was about 75% completion. Then.... it FROZE! I was devastated. Being the computer savvy kid that I was, I knew I probably had a corrupt file and needed to reinstall. I copy my save, reinstall, load it up........ FROZE AGAIN! Blast, my attempts to continue the game were beaten and I was left unable to finish. As time goes on I continue to PC game, but never get back into flight simulations.

This brings us to a long time ago in a galaxy far far awa... wait a minute.... what am I smoking???? Oh yeah, hehe. In the future... which is closer to the present, but is in the past from real life time, but takes place after the beginning of our story... My friend Brian decided to back Star Citizen and begin to pitch it to me. At the time I had become a bigger console gamer and my PC turned into a laptop that is a little out of date. I told him I didn't see a desktop capable of running high end games in my future....

All hope was not lost as I got laid off!!! Wait, how was this good again? Oh that's right, there was a severance package! Since I'M THE JUGGANOTT *****! (had to fit that in somewhere) I got a new job lined up to start the day after my other one ended. The unfortunate part of this was that I was moving out of state... or so I thought.

The buddy of mine that backed Star Citizen was currently in the market for a new job as well. I mentioned to him that I was moving to Massachusetts and that there are a lot more tech jobs there that he could use his programming degree with. He was excited at the idea! He found a job, we found an apartment, I got a new gaming PC (last pieces arrive tomorrow) and I signed up for Star Citizen. I made a pledge and am the proud owner of a Cutlass! It's time to pick up where I left off. From the gamer who played Wing Commander I, II, III, and most of IV... I introduce myself, Star Citizen Jugganott!!!!!!

Looking forward to being a member of the community!
