I'm looking for input regarding using the x55 or other two handed HOTAS systems with track IR. I currently use the track IR for target/view (on very low sensitivity as to not overshoot my target). I have completely mapped controls in the Saitek software so that I don't have to edit any user file and upon updates I simply go into SC controls in game and only map a few commands.
I haven't noticed any way to make a command "not assigned" so I have mapped all controls, except for Axis of course, to the POV. Then, in Saitek's software I set the POV to buttons which makes SC ignore the default POV inputs and respond ONLY to the commands I entered in the Saitek software.
Any input and discussion regarding using the x55 or other HOTAS and Track IR in conjunction would be greatly appreciated
