Hi,
I upgraded my computer and am so happy that I want to share this here, as the only reason that I did this is Star Citizen. ^^
I now have new:
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO Basic
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Black 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) (Up from 6GB)
GFX: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 SuperClocked (Up from Radeon HD 5870)
Screen: Dell 2560x1440
What I'm keeping:
CPU: Intel Core i7 930 2.8 ghz (not overclocked ... yet)
Board: ASUS P6T SE
Sooooo....
Question one: Did I miss anything?
Question two: With Occulus rift 'Crescent Bay' going towards at least 1k x 1k resolution per eye, will my new GFX card be powerful enough for it, or will I need to buy a second one to run SLI when Occulus comes into the stores?
