For cargo bays, how do we fill them all the way up? The Taurus, for example, can only be filled with boxes or items 2m high--despite being about 5m high--due to the lack of an access method that allows larger items.
The back has to slide or swing up, or the floor of the bay go down a lot further, to allow us to use the volume of the hold that we have.
Now, this isn't a problem with metals, ore, liquids and so on; they are dense enough that the bay will only be 1/3 filled in volume when you run out of mass capacity. But if you are carrying low-density items it's a problem.
The 300-series and the Aurora have a different problem: if you fill up the cargo bay you can't get into the ship.
Are these being addressed by the ship designers? Or will there be a placeholder box marked "full load of cargo", thereby breaking the visual feel and messing up the gameplay?
