I've been looking into star citizen for awhile and just got settled into a new job and just installed my new graphics card! Payday is today well in a few hours at least.

If somone could please explain more about the game and the community at large i would be grateful.

I consider myself to be an informed if sometimes impulsive buyer so a an explantion of the starting packages would be much appreciated.
