UPDATE 9/18/2013 - Interior work. Started to detail the top deck and a little bit more of the cockpit. Added in the containment walls, so you can shut off areas. Right now there are 6 beds in there but the standard is 4. The command and control room is the first section but can also be a common area. On this variant the captains quarter is in the rear which has its own deluxe bunk, bathroom, shower and minor storage.

UPDATE 9/14/2013 - Ok here are some detail updates. Added some mid wing detail. Some spotlights in the front (I had to do this because of a story written about the Gavel. :) The engines are done, but they will not have the articulation I was going to but in. Also added a picture of the storage maximum configuration and the Captains Quarters rear frame.

UPDATE 8/31/2013 - Another quick update on the Standard Rear Frame. External is about done with it. A little more greeble to finish the base look out. The windows have covers that raise up and lie on the top. Also there is a elevator exit underneath. I also added the small stabilizer vertical wings that also help the shield the engines from the sides. Not sure if I will keep them.

UPDATE 7/29/2013 - And for the Mercs out there, I thought I put out a concept variant that was kitted by the owner - Now, there was a certain gopher out in my back yard... er, never mind.

Ok, here is a Mercenary V kitted version that the pilot dubbed Badger Six. He really wanted his paint job to match that 'badger' feel. hehe. But more importantly he wanted to convey that he means business and wont ever back down. (Still need to add the small decals and some other details)

High Speed Intercept/Interdiction config WIP with the extra engine. You lose out on a little firepower but can get in and out quick. Even a Connie would be hard pressed to keep up with this config.

UPDATE 7/20/13 Quick update WIP! ... Drop Ship and boarding craft. :)

This is what UEE Law Enforcement will use to board a ship. Very much a WIP on this... This option replaces the large internal storage bay or the snub fighter bay if equipped. Should carry up to 6 members.

Inside there is a heavy duty docking collar that attaches from the bottom. This ship can be used to send out a small crew for docking and securing a derelict ship or apprehending personnel.

Civilian Look, but with the war cockpit. That will be a cleaner smoother looking cockpit for civis. Also the civilian model will have no wing lasers.

UPDATE 7/11/13 Ok, more of the cockpit done. So everyone that asked to see the cockpit here is the start. :) The helm chair will differ a bit later, but for now it's just like the others. The Gavel is supposed to be really sturdy so expect to see more solid support beams like the on in the picture below.
