For Force Feedback fans.

When do you think we will see force feedback added into the game, soon, in a while later this year. Or next year and beyond maybe. I think next year, maybe longer. After core game of course and things like the more popular controllers like TrackIR and the Oc Rift.

And what force feedback options/features would you like to see included.

**Edit**
reply from CIG, they are looking into it and have some Logitech G940's.

Good news. (being tested by CIG - confirmed) and I quote "Thank you for your question. We recently received a couple of refurbished G940s at the UK office. So Joystick force feedback is very much something we plan to dig into a bit further".

Even in space, the ships in the AC and PU could easily have full force feedback support to aid further the joystick immersion, if you want it as a citizen pilot that is.

There are forces and effects that can be represented absolutely everywhere on a space craft via haptic feedback. Landing gear operation, landing and take off forces and vibration, atmospheric flight - both entry and exit, atmospheric exit thrust forces, impacts in asteroid fields and with other space objects including other ships or docking rings, ballistic weapons fire vibration, combat damage vibrations from ballistic weapons fire and missile hits to shield impacts. Then three could be the vibration forces from using afterburners or sudden reverse thrust. And even some opposite force when nearing red/black out - a slow force building up when near blackout and then maybe a stick shaker reminder.

I would expect to see a couple of settings or more in the advanced controller options eventually to adjust the amount of force feedback. This would seem a logical step to take. And other options, but I'd leave that to the dev's to decide upon. Certainly some advanced force feedback options would be great to have so one can fine tune the experience.

Plus anyone using a force feedback stick in Star Citizen will need the auto centring addressed, most have the optical sensor to detect when the grip is held. So some section in the games settings/advanced joystick controls will need to have force feedback centring options. And many more I hope to further adjust force feedback options, such as strengths and maybe limiting where FFB is used. Then also having the option to manually edit the games *.ffe files (haptic feedback effect files).

*Of course, not forgetting the xbox one controllers force feedback triggers, and the xbox360 pads rumble. And I guess the valve controller, which ever version finally comes on sale.

I'm sure CIG know there is a sizeable part of the community that would like very much to have force feedback with joysticks, full force feedback support - with set up/strength options in the UI advanced controller set up section. But also appreciate this should come a little later and that the core game features need to be locked down first.

Force feedback (Haptic feedback) should not die out, and I feel a game like Star Citizen has a special opportunity to revive it and make it anew in their space sim game.
