Hey,

Forgive me if I put this in the wrong section, tried first putting it in the bug section but wasn't allowed to post it in there. So, the next closest thing may very well be the Hardware section.

I just got the client updated (had to re-download all patches and it took roughly a week) and now whenever I try to launch the game, via the launcher or straight by trying to run the client, it crashes. Right away.

Event Viewer:
Faulting application StarCitizen.exe, version 3.6.3.2654, time stamp 0x54e53dd2, faulting module MSVCR120.dll, version 12.0.21005.1, time stamp 0x524f83ff, exception code 0xc000001d, fault offset 0x0000000000099070, process id 0x470, application start time 0x01d05c1d5b556518.

Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6002) Service Pack 2 (64-bit)
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-4350 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), ~4.2GHz
Memory: 8092MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series (OC-Edition, 1gb ram)

I have tried downloading the MSVCR120.dll file and replacing the one in the bin64 folder, I've tried replacing it with the one in Windows system folder too. Still, the problem persists. Reinstalling c++ redistri. won't seem to have effect. I don't know what's wrong. I've had this problem as far as I can remember, ever since December? When that big patch came...

I don't know what is causing this problem. The client just crashes right away when launching it with the error "StarCitizen.exe has stopped working". Is StarCitizen become a game for Windows 7&8 (64-bit) operating systems like all the other games? That's the only reasonable explanation I can think of; perhaps my operating system isn't just matching the required OS anymore (which would be weird since in the min. requirements it says Windows Vista 64-bit too).

Am I the only one with this problem? Google searches didn't give many results regarding this issue either. I know it's been just a few months (3 or 4 months) before I last asked about this issue and back then I was told it wasn't anything to worry about. Is this still the case?

Yours,
Preshn
