So I think i understand how the reputation system will work and I get the mechanics of death but how will the two interact with eachother...
Will our rep. be wiped clean upon character death (which IMO would be broke)
or will the new character you have designated your beneficiary recieve some if not all of that reputation.
IMO i think it would be best to have it gradually decline towards neutral between generations. Ergo, bad things or good things you did would be forgotten over time and you could eventually have a clean slate after several character deaths/generations.
However i think it would be good to have certain crimes or acts of glory that stand the test of time and never degrade.
For example genocide or saving an entire planet...
