I know this has been asked before, but there seem to be so many different answers that I still don't know :P

How many ships will there be in the final game?

Is it going to be a game of many diverse looking ships? Or a game of few ships but lots of variants?

I would much rather the former option, but of course that adds delays at additional costs etc etc.
I just think with the amount of $$$ already raised there should be at least 40 unique ships.

Have they said how many will be in the final game?
